About

Stoney Ground Herbs

Kia ora!  Haere mai ki Stoney Ground Herbs!

I’m SandRa and Stoney Ground Herbs is the manifestation of a dream that started a long time ago…

Many many moons ago I studied herbal medicine and came to the realisation that I’d rather grow the herbs than administer the herbs. There started the dream of having my own organic herb farm, to grow quality herbs for the supply of the herbal medicine market and plants for all whom love and appreciate herbs and their varied uses.

I started Stoney Ground Herbs in 2014 when we were based in Paekakariki, Kāpiti.  We’ve moved a few times since then; Peka Peka near Waikanae, then just north of Foxton and now we are in Eketāhuna (North Wairarapa/Tararua), where we’re set to really put some roots down as we are no longer renting, hooray!

In the Spring/Summer months I provide herb seedlings (grown from cuttings, divisions or seed).  I also have various herbs available dried, depending on what’s gone well year to year..

All of my products and plants are grown organically and ethically, in keeping with how my family and I live our life and how we want the world to more become.
xo SandRa
