Still here!

Gosh, it’s been a while hasn’t it..

I’ve had a few things on the go over the last couple of months.  Plus with my youngest now just over 2 years old I’m even more on my toes and don’t get much constructive time on the computer!

I’ve decided to relocate my herb garden to a bigger space which has been fun planning (I’ll post photos when it looks more than just a curvy piece of dirt!).  It’s nice to feel excited again.  Although my herbs really pulled through on the rough season we had this year I was really disappointed with the summer vege season and I’ve hardly been able to look the garden in the eye as such!  Perhaps the increasing coolness of winter is helping to wipe the slate clean again.

winter doing its business..

I’ve just finished the last of my hardwood cuttings and root divisions (there’s still time yet if you haven’t done yours) for the coming season.  I have a lot more stock this year and a few more species~ I’ll wait til they’ve taken root before I tell y’all what I’ve got.  But it’s all very exciting, now I just have to wait til August to start the seed sowing and spring divisions.

I’m doing another workshop for Kapiti Councils No 8 Wire Workshop week in mid July, all the info isn’t out yet but I’ll be doing a workshop in making herbal ointments and we’ll be making a delish super handy Kawakawa ointment.  More details closer to the time…

Hope you’re all well and warm  xx
